Whether you need powerful professional headshots, unforgettable senior portraits, or timeless family photographs, my goal is simple: to help you look and feel your absolute best.
Originally from Sweden and proudly rooted in Kirkland for over 25 years, I understand this community because I’ve raised my own three children here. I know how important it is to capture milestones, celebrate achievements, and preserve the moments that matter most.
Experience You Can Trust
With 30+ years of professional photography experience, including 10 years photographing teams like the Seattle Mariners, I know how to capture authentic, dynamic moments under pressure, bringing the patience and understanding of a parent of three (now young adults) to every interaction with people, children, and pets.
I specialize in:
Family portraits you’ll treasure for generations
High school senior sessions that celebrate personality and achievement
Professional headshots that build confidence and credibility
Personal branding sessions designed to elevate your business and showcase who you truly are
Personal branding sessions are a favorite of mine because they go beyond a simple headshot. Together, we create images that reflect your personality, professionalism, and unique story—helping you stand out in today’s competitive world.
My Studio
My studio is located in the Bridle Trails neighborhood of Kirkland, WA, and I proudly serve clients throughout Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Seattle, and surrounding communities across the greater Puget Sound region. If you’re elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest—or beyond—I’m always open to traveling for the right project.
Wherever your session takes place, you can expect the same level of care, creativity, and attention to detail.
Creative Lighting That Makes You Stand Out
Lighting makes all the difference. It shapes your features, sets the mood, and transforms a good photo into an exceptional one.
I specialize in blending studio lighting with natural ambient light to create images that feel both polished and authentic. Whether you’re looking for something bold and dramatic or soft and natural, I design the lighting around you and your vision.
I use professional-grade Profoto studio lighting and Nikon cameras and lenses to ensure your images are sharp, flattering, and beautifully crafted. My portable studio lighting setup also allows me to create studio-quality results on location—at your office, outdoors, or wherever your session takes place.
If you've seen an image you love and want to
recreate, I am game! Let'd do it!
Formal Training
I received my formal training in professional photography and studio lighting at the Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle more than two decades ago. That education gave me a strong technical foundation—but my hands-on experience started even earlier.
Before moving to the United States, I worked as a wedding photographer’s assistant in Sweden, where I learned the importance of timing, attention to detail, and capturing genuine emotion. From fast-paced wedding days to carefully crafted studio sessions, those early experiences shaped the way I work today.
Previously, I spent many years working in the gaming industry, where I developed advanced Photoshop skills and refined efficient production workflows. Those years of experience now play a key role in my photography—allowing me to carefully retouch, enhance, and prepare each image with precision, whether it’s for digital use or high-quality fine art printing.
Tutoring, Mentoring and Classes/Summer Camps
I love sharing my photography and Photoshop knowledge with
anyone who wants to learn. I studied pedagogy in college, and
students say I'm good at explaining things. This summer I am
offering week-long Photography Summer Camps for 10-13 year olds
at my studio, the week of July 12-16, and July 26-30.
